First Look Promo For Supergirl Season 1, Episode 11 Released

CBS has released the first promo for next week's episode of Supergirl, and it offers up a first look at the villainous White Martians. They're among the Justice League's greatest villains in the comics, but will be targeting Martian Manhunter in this instalment of the hit series. That hopefully means we're going to see even more of Martian Manhunter in action after he took flight with Supergirl last night.

For further details, here’s the synopsis for the episode – titled “Strange Visitor From Another Planet” – courtesy of the network:

Kara must help Hank face his painful past when a White Martian, a member of the alien race that wiped out his people, kidnaps Senator Miranda Crane (Tawny Cypress), an anti-alien politician. Also, Cat’s estranged son, Adam (Blake Jenner), arrives in National City, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, January 25th on CBS.

The ratings may have dropped since the series premiere, but Supergirl definitely appears to have found an audience, and is a solid addition to the DC TV slate. Whether or not that long rumoured crossover with The Flash is going to happen later this year is still unknown, but as this promo makes clear, Kara Danvers has plenty of other problems to be dealing with in the meantime.

Episode 11 of Supergirl will air next Monday.
