After being demanded by so many for so long, Bethesda Softworks have finally revealed a first glimpse at the Thieves Guild in The Elder Scrolls Online. A brand new trailer shows some of the powers and abilities members of the guild will have once they become available in the game, as well as some of the interesting aesthetic changes that will arrive.
The Thieves Guild has always been one of the best-dressed in the various games across Tamriel, and from the looks of this trailer that trend will not be bucked by The Elder Scrolls Online. The characters during the gameplay shots look sly and stealthy and the visuals are excellent.
But looks aren’t everything, of course, and these new Thieves Guild members also show themselves to be smart and deadly when pushed into a tight spot. At the end of the trailer. Bethesda encourages players to “play dirty” but “get away clean” and, on the evidence of the new teaser, that’s going to be a tough offer to refuse.
Other than the tentative ‘Coming Soon,’ there’s currently no word on exactly when the Thieves Guild will arrive for The Elder Scrolls Online, but we’ll bring you more updates as they come to us.
