Despite the fact that it’s currently being somewhat overshadowed by the likes of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Captain America: Civil War, X-Men: Apocalypse definitely feels like one to watch this year. With director Bryan Singer finally bringing the huge action that fans expect from comic book movies to the franchise and Oscar Isaac cast as the iconic Apocalypse, there’s certainly a lot to look forward to here.

This weekend, a new international promo banner surfaced for the film, and it puts the spotlight on an unusual mixture of characters. Along with Charles Xavier now very much in full on Professor X mode, we see two of the Four Horsemen in Magneto and Storm as well as two X-Men members Beast and Quicksilver.

Is this just a random assortment of X-Men: Apocalypse characters thrown together to promote a new car, or is it a sign of a team-up to come? That remains to be seen, but it’s a very cool piece of imagery regardless.

As well as returning cast members Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult, X-Men: Apocalypse will also introduce Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Lana Condor, Oscar Isaac, Ben Hardy, Olivia Munn, and a number of others. The movie is set to be released on May 27th, 2016.
