Apparently Beats 1 radio shows aren’t just for progressive house artists anymore. Bass music icon Skrillex has launched his very own series called OWSLA Radio that showcases music both inside and outside the umbrella of his widely influential label, and he’s brought along some friends for the ride.

As opposed to the continual mix format more common to electronic music podcasts, OWSLA Radio features discrete breaks between tracks. In the first edition, Skrillex, Kill The Noise and Mija are among the artists who fill each break with commentary regarding the next song – a lot of which is about as entertaining as what you’d expect from such a quirky collection of personalities.

According to the blurb on OWSLA Radio’s Beats 1 page, each episode will come out on a bi-weekly basis and will feature guest appearances from various artists.
