X-Men: Apocalypse Theatre Standee Features New Looks At Most Of The Characters

A cool new standee for Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse is starting to appear in theatres, and as you can see, it gives us a look at pretty much all of the merry band of mutants assembled – the only notable absentees being Tye Sheridan’s Cyclops, Lana Condor’s Jubilee and Rose Byrne’s returning Moira McTaggert.

Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) looms large at the back, while left to right we have his Four Horsemen: Ben Hardy as Angel, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Olivia Munn as Psylocke and Michael Fassbender as Magneto. Then there’s the X-Men themselves: Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Evan Peters as Quicksilver, Nicholas Hoult as Beast and newcomer Sophie Turner as Jean Grey. Crouching in front is Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, and finally James McAvoy as the now bald Professor X.

While the Horsemen are all wearing fairly comic-accurate costumes, many fans are disappointed that the X-Men are once again garbed in matching black uniforms – however, Singer has assured us that we will be seeing more colourful outfits at some point in the movie.

X-Men: Apocalypse is set to be released on May 27th, 2016.
