Exclusive Video Interview: Dakota Johnson And Leslie Mann Talk How To Be Single

WGTC sits down with Dakota Johnson and Leslie Mann to talk about their new film, How To Be Single.

There are many romantic movies out there about people hoping to find their soulmates or significant others, but How To Be Single looks to break that trend as it features a variety of characters who manage to find fulfillment in different ways.

Dakota Johnson (Fifty Shades of Grey) stars as Alice, a recent college graduate who has just broken up with her longtime boyfriend and moves to Manhattan to explore what it’s like to be on her own. She has her loving, career-minded sister Meg (Leslie Mann) to depend on for support as well as her best friend and party animal Robin (Rebel Wilson), who is determined to show how her to be single successfully in New York.

In addition, we also get to meet other characters like Lucy (Alison Brie), who is obsessed with online dating, bartender Tom (Anders Holm), who has long since turned the one-night stand into an art form, Ken (Jake Lacy), who takes an instant liking to Meg and quickly falls for her, and single father David (Damon Wayans Jr.), who has a hard time balancing out being a parent with being a bachelor. As the movie goes on, all these characters will find out that whether or not they get what they want, they’ll still get exactly what they need.

The How To Be Single press day in Los Angeles took place last week and proved to be a star-studded affair. While there, we got the chance to catch up with Dakota Johnson and Leslie Mann for an exclusive interview, in which they spoke about building chemistry together, a specific scene with a baby and much more.

Check out the video above to hear what they had to say and be sure to catch How To Be Single when it arrives in theaters on February 12th.
