As great as it was to see so many Easter Eggs in last night’s episode of The Flash, they paled in comparison to how exciting the Scarlet Speedster’s trip to Earth-2 ended up being.
After an action-packed instalment introducing us to some familiar faces in very different roles, things ended on a massive cliffhanger as Zoom got his hands on The Flash, and today, we see more of their confrontation in the first images from the the next instalment.

On Earth-2, the team races to find Zoom’s lair and asks for help from the most unexpected source. Meanwhile, back on Earth-1, Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) rushes to perfect Velocity-9 so that Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) can stop the Geomancer (guest star Adam Stafford). J.J. Makaro directed the episode with story by Todd Helbing & Aaron Helbing and teleplay by David Kob.
Another huge question to come from both last night’s episode and these images is who the man in the iron mask is. It’s been said that it’s someone significant, but whether that means a major DC Comics character or an alternate version of a character we’ve already met is hard to say at this stage. Regardless, it’s only a matter of time before we find out!
