Boasting funky guitar riffs and a catchy, if somewhat generic melody, it’s a nice fusion of styles that results in another solid effort from Romero, following the excellent “Lighthouse” and “Harmony.”

The song is a definite departure from the producer’s usual progressive/electro sound, but in an age where so much of what’s put out just sounds recycled, we’re happy to see Nicky trying something new.

Give “Future Funk” a listen via the player above and if you like what you hear, be sure to pick up the song on February 26th when it drops via Protocol.
