Ladies, brace yourselves, for today we have the very first photo from the set of Paramount’s Baywatch reboot, and it features leading men Zac Efron and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
With production currently underway on the Seth Gordon-helmed flick, this is likely only the first of many set pics, and while it doesn’t reveal a whole lot, it’s sure to get people excited for what sounds like a very promising reboot.
In case you haven’t been keeping up, the plot will focus on Johnson’s Mitch Buchannon, a by-the-books lifeguard who teams up with hothead Matt Brody to “stop an oil tycoon from destroying their beach.” Expect shenanigans aplenty and what will no doubt be dynamite chemistry between the two charismatic and extremely likeable leads.
It’s still early days on the project, but with a supporting cast that includes Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Hannibal Buress and Pryanka Chopra, among others, and a “hard-R rating,” you can bet that Paramount’s “badass” Baywatch is going to be a blast to watch once it hits the big screen next May.
