Following the release of three new character posters for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Warner Bros. has unveiled an awesome shot of Ben Affleck suited up and ready for action as the Dark Knight. Who is he waiting for? Superman, of course!
It’s interesting to note that Batman continues to have a much larger presence in the marketing materials for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice than the Man of Steel, though considering how much more successful his movies have always been when compared to those starring Superman, perhaps that shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise.
[zergpaid]However, combining these two DC Comics icons in the same release has all the makings of a billion dollar blockbuster, and it’s going to be fascinating to see if this historic clash brings in moviegoers the same way the likes of The Avengers and Star Wars: The Force Awakens did.
Justice League may already be in the early stages of production, but the fate of the DC Films Universe still rests on the success of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, which means that Warner Bros. need this movie to be a hit.
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to open in theaters on March 25th, 2016.
