At last year’s American Music Awards, Diplo and Skrillex announced that early 2016 would see the release of a Jack Ü EP. Well, we’re now almost into March, and there’s still been nothing in the way of updates, let alone new music from the duo.
That being said, it looks like the EP is certainly on its way – it’s just in the process of being mastered. As you can see in the image below, HM Mastering (who works a lot with OWSLA) is currently working on the EP. However, there’s no timeline given for when we can expect it to be done.
It could be a matter of months before HM Mastering is finished with their work, and with no updates from either Skrillex or Diplo on the status of the EP, it’s hard to say when it will be with us.
Still, the fact that it’s being mastered means that it can’t be too far off, and hopefully the Jack Ü EP will arrive sooner rather than later. As always, we’ll let you know when we hear more.
