Clocking in as the 12th TV spot to date, you’d be forgiven for thinking that Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is risking overexposure at this point. But low and behold, Warner Bros. recently pulled back the curtain on a new snippet from Zack Snyder’s titanic superhero showdown, and it even contains a sliver of new footage.
Teeing up the “greatest gladiatorial match in the history of man,” the clip once again doubles down on that titular clash between the Last Son of Krypton and the Caped Crusader with dramatic effect.
[zergpaid]Now that we’re within the one-month window before Dawn of Justice‘s arrival on March 25, Warner’s seemingly all-encompassing marketing campaign is beginning to reach its crescendo. Among the trailers, TV spots and featurettes, though, came news that an R-rated version of Zack Snyder’s franchise-starter would be included in the eventual Blu-ray release, leading to all manner of speculation online as to what the new scenes will contain.
Beyond that, there’s also early projections for the film’s opening weekend, with industry analysts claiming that Dawn of Justice will open anywhere between $100-$140 million. Take that with a grain of salt, of course, as we’ll find out the movie’s true performance in little under a month’s time.
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice marches into theaters on March 25.
