The Magician Brings A Sexy Groove To AlunaGeorge’s “I’m In Control”

There's something about AlunaGeorge's vocals that make all her tracks delightfully remixable. The Magician has clearly recognized this, as he's taken it upon himself to offer up a future house version of her January release, "I'm In Control," that brings out the vibrance of the original.

While Alunageorge’s original “I’m In Control” features a syncopated beat and guest vocal by Popcaan that likens it more to Jamaican dancehall than anything else, The Magician’s reverberant synth work instills in his own remix a smooth danceability. The remix’s four-four percussion also gives it more distinct ebbs and flows, making it more likely to gain traction throughout the global festival circuit than the source material.

After all, if DJ Snake’s remix of AlunaGeorge’s “You Know You Like It” was any indicator, an electronic music remix of one of her tracks can easily make its rounds.
