While many initially rolled their eyes when Paramount announced they were making a Baywatch reboot, I think at this point it’s safe to say that the Seth Gordon-helmed film is shaping up quite nicely.

With an impossibly good-looking cast, and the studio gunning for a “badass” take on the source material with a 21 Jump Street vibe, this could end up being a very enjoyable summer flick and one which could definitely pull in some solid numbers at the box office, too.

Headlining the film are the incredibly charismatic duo of Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, with support coming in the form of Kelly Rohrbach, Alexandra Daddario, Hannibal Buress and even original cast members David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson (possibly). Not bad, right?

While we’ve yet to see any footage from the flick, we have got a few photos courtesy of the always active social media accounts of Mr. Johnson. The last pic featured him with Efron, and this one has him striking a pose in costume along with Rohrbach. It doesn’t tell us much about the film, but it’s a fun shot that shows off the cast goofing around and having a good time on set.

With the film now in production, and photos starting to release, I imagine it won’t be too much longer before the first teaser drops. Until then, though, take a look at the photo above and leave us a comment letting us know if you’re as excited for the Baywatch reboot as we are.
