EA Sports UFC 2 Is Now Available To Demo Through EA Access

EA Sports UFC 2 won’t officially launch until next week, but EA Access subscribers can now get their hands on the title a little early. Beginning today, wannabe mixed martial artists can step into the Octagon with the sequel for a 10 hour trial period.

Currently only available on the Xbox One, EA Access is a subscription service offered by the publisher that offers up trials of new and upcoming releases, as well as access to The Vault. The original EA Sports UFC has been available to play through The Vault for several months, but now those interested in the follow-up can test out the full game over the course of their trial period.

If after the trial wraps up, you’re interested in purchasing EA Sports UFC 2, Electronic Arts has you covered. Not only will you receive a 10% discount on the title through Xbox Live, but also any progress you made in the trial will carry over to the full version of the game. So if you were interested in creating the next megastar for the promotion, but worried about having to start over next week, there’s nothing to be concerned about.

I enjoy watching UFC, and am also an EA Access subscriber, so you better believe I currently have the trial downloading to my Xbox One. I would have been playing the full version of the game next week regardless, but I’m interested in using this extra time in order to learn all of the new mechanics. I’m specifically looking forward to getting some practice in with the retooled grappling and submission systems.
