Charlie Cox On Daredevil Season 2’s Most Insane Fight Scene

Anyone that's watched the first season of Marvel and Netflix's Daredevil will surely recall the epic, single-shot hallway battle scene from one of the early episodes which saw the Man Without Fear face, and defeat, multiple opponents. It was some of the finest fight choreography ever seen on TV , and rightly drew comparisons to the similarly acclaimed "hammer fight" scene from Oldboy.

Anyone who’s watched the first season of Marvel and Netflix’s Daredevil will surely recall the epic, single-shot hallway battle scene from one of the early episodes which saw the Man Without Fear face, and defeat, multiple opponents. It was some of the finest fight choreography ever seen on TV , and rightly drew comparisons to the similarly acclaimed “hammer fight” scene from Oldboy.

As great as that was though, expect the ante to be well and truly upped for season 2 as Daredevil faces off against a gang of very angry bikers in a vacant apartment. Just like last time, the scrap commences in a hallway but soon moves to a stairwell for some truly jaw-dropping, balletic action.

During a conference call, Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock) told Cinemablend that this is the moment he’s most excited for viewers to witness when they tune into season 2.

It was really, really fun. It was a huge challenge for everyone including the camera operator, because most of it takes place in a stairwell, and that was very challenging and tricky. It’s one of my great memories of Season 2. It’s probably the thing I’m most excited about the fans seeing.

All 13 episodes of Daredevil season 2 will be available to stream on Netflix from the 15th of March, and you can check out our early review right HERE to see what we thought of it.
