But you’ll need to act fast if you want to help out with the festivities: Techland are hoping to see 5,000,000 zombies smashed during the two day event, and there’ll be a community prize on offer if this target is reached. Contributing players will get an exclusive gold paint job for their buggy if the goal is met; who said swag would suffer in the zombie apocalypse?

Dying Light‘s developers are pretty keen for the target to be hit, as well, as they offered the following boost to their players:

We’ve also added a little something extra to add to the carnage. We’re giving the buggy some extra hitting power during the event, so smashing zombies will be even more fun. Make sure to give it a try!

The Buggy Frenzy event will be running in Dying Light: The Following on March 19th and 20th, giving you just over 24 hours to get that zombie smashing technique honed to perfection.
