Advertised as “the definitive Deadlight experience,” this new version will improve upon the last-gen sidescrolling horror game, by introducing 1080p visuals, better animations and adjusted controls. There will also be a new Survival Arena mode attached to the re-release, although details are scarce and I’m not sure of how they’ll make that work given the game’s mechanics. We’ll have to wait and see, though.

Deadlight: Director’s Cut is expected to release on June 21st, carrying a price tag of $19.99.
