Kygo Premieres Brand New Track With John Legend At Ultra Music Festival

Despite bringing with him no less than 10 new songs, Martin Garrix wasn't the only one premiering music at Ultra Music Festival this weekend. Far from it, in fact. Most of the DJs playing the fest took the opportunity to drop new tracks, and Kygo was no exception.

Though he brought with him no less than 10 new songs for his main stage set, Martin Garrix wasn’t the only one premiering music at Ultra this past weekend. Far from it, in fact. Most of the DJs playing the fest took the opportunity to drop new tracks, and Kygo was no exception.

He teased an upcoming collaboration with John Legend late last year, and on Friday during his performance, he unleashed it onto an ecstatic crowd. We believe the title is going to be “Happy Birthday” and it features Legend’s soulful vocals set to an infectious tropical melody as Kygo perfectly marries the two into another impressive piece of work from the Norwegian producer.

Like “Fragile,” it’s more of a vocal-driven piece, but it definitely works and we can’t wait for it to get an official release. Unfortunately, there’s no date for the track just yet, but this one’s got radio play written all over it and we imagine that we’ll be hearing “Happy Birthday” hit the airwaves in no time.

Until it does, however, check out Kygo and John Legend’s collaboration above and drop a comment below letting us know what you think of it.
