Jauz And Eptic Go Breakbeat With “Get Down”

The bass house phenomenon that's swept the electronic music world has touched on the far less popular breakbeat trend every so often, and now is one of those times. A series of vocal samples ushers in the syncopated beat before a buildup elevates the energy of the production. At the drop, frequency modulated bass wobbles remind you that it is, in fact, a Jauz track before an unexpectedly dramatic break switches up the mood for several measures.

For what it’s worth, I think breaks is a good sound for Jauz and Eptic, and with any luck we’ll see more of the same from either producer as festival season moves forward.
