“We’ve been hard at work getting Riptide GP: Renegade ready for series fans and new players alike,” said Matt Small, Creative Director and Co-Founder of Vector Unit. “This version has been developed from the ground up for next-gen consoles. We kept what worked, but completely retuned the mechanics and the graphics engine, and we can’t wait for players to get their hands on the game.”

If you’re unfamiliar with the series, Riptide GP: Renegade — which comes from a franchise with mobile roots — is described as being “a next-gen water racer where armored riders kick out death-defying stunts over massive waterfalls, outrun cops, and boost at breakneck speeds across surging waves.” Featuring a challenging single player campaign with boss battles, local multiplayer and online play, it’s something that fans of arcade racing games will want to keep an eye on.

Stay tuned for more information pertaining to Riptide GP: Renegade. For now, though, take the time to check out its first trailer and screens.
