Update: 20th Century Fox has now completed the foursome by debuting the character posters for both Michael Fassbender (Magneto) and Olivia Munn (Psylocke). Check them out in the gallery above.

Original Story: Alexandra Shipp and Ben Hardy revel in the end of days in the latest batch of character posters for next month’s monolithic actioner, X-Men: Apocalypse.

Assuming the roles of Storm and Angel, respectively – two pillars of the capricious Four Horsemen, along with Michael Fassbender (Magneto) and Olivia Munn (Psylocke) – the stylish posters promote the characters from normal mutants to powerful soldiers ready to fight Apocalypse’s all-consuming war.

Primed to tear Earth asunder, Oscar Isaac will embody the ancient deity in next month’s flick. Early reactions to his Power Ranges-esque costume were largely negative, but a featurette from earlier today offered a peak at the raw power residing in Isaac’s former Pharaoh – he’s not to be trifled with, that’s for sure.

Rounding out the cast for Apocalypse are James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Lucas Till, Evan Peters, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Josh Helman and Lana Condor.

This is the end, my only friend, the end. Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse will rain down destruction of biblical proportions when the threequel looms over cinemas on May 27.

X-Men

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
