Jenaux purports that he’s got quite a bit of new music on the back burner, but in the meantime he’s been firing off remixes like it’s nobody’s business. The “big room funk” DJ/producer recently hung out with fellow New Yorkers The Chainsmokers, and a remix of their recent track, “Don’t Let Me Down,” has resulted.

“…The homies Alex & Drew gave me the opportunity to put my spin with my new sound on ‘Don’t Let Me Down,'” Jenaux explains in the remix’s SoundCloud blurb. “We were in Barcelona together, got very drunk, I messed up Drew’s hair, and then they gave me these stems.”

Another impressive piece of work from the producer, the remix has been pitched up somewhat from the original. While Daya’s serene vocals still stand out as the centrepiece of the arrangement, the underlying elements now take on more of the Daft Punk-reminiscent production style that has become Jenaux’s calling card.

In addition to this and his last remix, Jenaux claims to have about nine original tracks coming out this festival season. If you like what you’ve heard thus far, then stay tuned for more of the same in the coming months.
