It’s finally official: Sasha and John Digweed will reunite in September. The duo surprised attendees of Bedrock Easter at Ministry of Sound two weeks ago when Sasha joined Digweed behind the decks, and after numerous vague hints, it has been confirmed that they will perform a back-to-back set at this year’s edition of The Social Festival in England.

Sasha and Digweed became a fixture of the ’90s progressive house landscape for such performances – typically at storied nightclub Renaissance in Mansfield, England. The duo also released several albums that would come to define the era – particularly the celebrated Northern Exposure series, which some would say laid the foundation for trance.

It’s still unclear whether Sasha and Digweed will tour together past their performance at The Social Festival (which takes place on September 9th and 10th in Maidstone, England), but look out for further information as they release it to the public.
