DrinkBox Studios, creative minds behind Mutant Blobs Attack and Guacamelee!, has unveiled release plans for its latest PS Vita exclusive, Severed.
Set to slice and dice its way onto Sony’s handheld on April 26, the studio took to PlayStation Blog to confirm that its new IP will be available for $14.99 at launch, while PlayStation Plus subscribers are entitled to a 10 percent discount should they nab the first-person title during release week.
Ever the one to support PlayStation Vita, DrinkBox published an elevator pitch for Severed, describing its latest and really rather stylish title as “a first-person dungeon crawling adventure where you equip the carcasses of your enemies to gain their powers. You play as Sasha, a warrior who wakes up in a surreal fantasy world and sets off on a mission to find the missing members of her family.”
Though no pre-orders are available, budding fans can listen to the game’s official soundtrack. Composed by Yamantaka // Sonic Titan, you can find full details for the Severed score via the band’s page.
Severed will be launch digitally on Tuesday, April 26. The only question now is, will you be venturing into DrinkBox’s first-person dungeon crawler?
