Since its debut edition last year, nobody in the SoCal house and techno scene has stopped clamoring about the Dirtybird Campout. The campground festival, which showcased performances by “all your favorite DJs in the world,” featured some truly memorable moments – and Claude VonStroke himself has taken the opportunity to tell music fans what this year’s edition would bring.

Suffice it to say, the man knows his audience. If somebody’s even on the fence about attending the Dirtybird campout, chances are they’re already familiar with most of the artists on the lineup – so in his teaser video, he speaks from the heart about the experience instead.

Against the backdrop of his recent track, “Urban Animal,” Claude VonStroke says:

You can just walk around and there will be lots of funny things happening that you can just fall into. That’s really what it is. At 3:00 in the morning, I just wanna find myself in a very weird place doing something totally ridiculous. That’s, like, my favorite thing.

I’d really like the festival to bring all of the different kinds of fans we have together, all to listen to really good music, but not take any of it too seriously and just enjoy themselves – because that’s what I’m gonna be doing.

The DirtyBird Campout will take place from October 7th-9th, and a flash sale for three-day tickets will occur on June 25th.
