Featuring Richie Loop on vocals, “Drop It Down Low” is a vibrant trap anthem that boasts all the playful sound design of Jack Ãœ and nods toward the dancehall embellishments of Major Lazer. Serious brass is present from start to finish, and there’s an insatiable bounce to the entire mix. The bridge is seamless, and the transition into the second breakdown offers some welcome variety.

When speaking with us about the new single, here’s what Fong had to share:

Had an awesome time collaborating with my dude Richie Loop out of Jamaica on ‘Drop It Down Low’. He’s a great guy and I love his vocal for this track. It was also a great experience to continue experimenting in the studio with my sound and some different tempo ranges. Also pumped to finally work with Steve Aoki and his crew at Dim Mak. Steve’s one of the reason’s I got into DJing, so it’s really cool to be working with him and his team!!

Henry Fong has created some serious fun with “Drop It Down Low,” and you’re certainly going to be hearing more of this as temperatures continue to rise and folks start skimping on clothing.

Have a listen above to the new track above and as always, be sure to leave a comment letting us know what you think!
