With the open multiplayer beta set to descend on Xbox One come April 25, Microsoft has premiered a new Gears of War 4 trailer prepping you for the online action.
Drawing attention to the sequel’s versus multiplayer mode, the snippet above introduces most of the characters, weapons and maps that will be featured across the week-long testing. Running from April 25 until Sunday, May 1, it should be noted that budding marines will need an Xbox Live Gold account to hop into the action.
What’s more, simply participating in the open beta test will unlock an in-game cosmetic item (Vintage Kait Character) when Gears of War 4 lands in October.

Dust off those Chainsaw Bayonets, folks, as Gears of War 4 shoots for Xbox One on October 11. Those who wish to get a taste of the sci-fi action ahead of time can look for the open beta to grace Microsoft’s current-gen system on Monday, April 25.
