Following yesterday’s rumor that this year’s Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare (still unconfirmed, mind you) would come bundled with a remastered version of Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, publisher Activision seems to have given the clearest indication yet that the unconfirmed leak is actually a reality.

Earlier today, this rather explicit Tweet was posted on the official Call Of Duty Twitter account.

The original comment, having been excavated from the depths of Twitter, was posted two years ago by a certain fan who, by the looks of it, would void his bowels in excitement if such a remaster were ever confirmed – and we can’t imagine that Activision would go to such lengths just to troll their fanbase. The image in question that sparked all of the speculation can be seen below.

So, as it’s looking more and more likely that a Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare remaster is actually happening, we can only assume that Infinite Warfare truly is the name of this year’s brand new iteration, and that the November 6 release date is equally as accurate.

Whatever the case may be, at least we now know that Activision has a great sense of humor, and is having some fun with the leak rather than attempting to deny or ignore it.
