Spring Awakening Reveals Stacked 2016 Lineup

Few Chicago live music events make for the kind of festival season landmark that Spring Awakening does. The massive is gearing up to celebrate its fifth anniversary this year and it’s now dropped the sort of lineup that’s bound to make it a spectacle of massive proportions.

Kaskade, deadmau5 and Above & Beyond stand out as the most recognizable names on Spring Awakening’s 2016 roster, while The Chainsmokers, Crystal Castles, Gramatik and Claude VonStroke are also featured on its esteemed ranks, along with the return of Zeds Dead.

Due to unforeseen complications, however, the festival will no longer take place in Chicago’s Jackson Park. The 2016 edition will instead take place at Addams/Medill Park, which is a 20-minute drive away from the original location.
