Goldenvoice, the promotional company behind the major festival brand Coachella, has just announced a massive new event that will go down in music history as one of the greatest summit’s of legendary musicians ever organized. Dubbed Desert Trip, the three day festival will take place in Indio California at Empire Polo Club and will kick off October 7-9.

Now for the big news. For Desert Trip, Goldenvoice has procured six rock and roll legends to perform at the newly revealed festival, with Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Roger Waters, The Who and Neil Young all confirmed as headliners.

Each headliner will reportedly be walking away from the festival with a staggering fee of $7 million a piece, and promoters are already expecting a huge turnout from festival goers, meaning that there’s a high chance a second weekend will come about.

With so many major performers making the lineup, Desert Trip is one festival you won’t want to miss this year.
