“Arsenic” opens with a steady rolling four on the floor beat, setting the pace for the sinister tune. Malaa and Maximono take their time working the energy up on the new track while incorporating cues from bass house to great effect. The relentless groove featured in “Arsenic” pairs perfectly with the grimy atmosphere, as sliding basslines and wobbly synths carve out an irresistible rhythm.

Eschewing main stage sensibilities for a darker, more underground sound, Malaa and Maximono take “Arsenic” to the next level with superb production values and an expert sense of timing and energy. But don’t let the slow burning nature of this one fool you, it’s an absolute banger.
