Hearing the cries of Ori And The Blind Forest fans the world over, developer Nordic Games has announced that a physical retail edition of the critically acclaimed platform-adventure game will be available to buy in Europe and North America starting from June 14.

What’s more, this will be the improved Definitive Edition of Ori’s adventure, which includes additional areas, abilities, secrets and the welcome ability to fast travel between locations already visited for a more hassle-free experience.

Two different retail editions of the game will be available to buy in June. See below for what’s included in both.

The Standard retail version of the Definitive Edition retails at EUR/USD 19.99 and includes:
•Premium Packaging
•Quickstart Guide
•Game DVD
•A3 Poster

The Limited retail version of the Definitive Edition retails at EUR/USD 29.99 and includes:
•Steelbox
•Quickstart Guide
•Game DVD
•Audio-CD OST
•2 Postcards
•2 Double-Sided A3 Posters

It should be noted that all of the above information relates to the PC version, but Nordic says that they’re teaming up with Microsoft to bring a similar Xbox One retail copy to select retailers in North America for $19.99 due to release on the same day. There’s no mention of whether this will see a release outside of the US.

Since releasing in 2015, Ori And The Blind Forest has gone on to become one of the Xbox One’s most successful console exclusives, having been likened to the ‘Metroidvania’ style of gameplay popularized by the Metroid and Castlevania series respectively.
