Players who pre-order digital copies of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided for Xbox One are in for an extra treat for a limited time, courtesy of Microsoft. Xbox One pre-purchases will come with download codes for Deus Ex: Human Revolution and The Missing Link add-on, both of which are playable now via Backward Compatibility.

Once the order has been made, purchasers will enter a 7-10 day period during which codes for the series’ previous instalment and its DLC add-on can be sent to the Xbox message center. Once the code arrives, you’ll be able to download both items and refresh your memory of the series with Adam Jensen’s now backwardly compatible previous adventure.

This enticing offer is not going to last indefinitely, however, as Microsoft has said that the extra content will be available “for a limited time.” So, if you want to get your hands on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided‘s predecessor as a free bonus, you won’t want to drag your heels for too long or you may miss out.

In the same announcement about the pre-order bonuses, Microsoft have also confirmed that pre-downloading is available as an option for pre-orders of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, though the game is of course not playable until release on August 23.
