Love him or hate him, deadmau5 has garnered a reputation not only as one of the leaders of the EDM pack but also for his unrestrained sense of telling it like it is. In what’s just the latest tirade in a long running history of Twitter feuds, the Canadian producer took the to the social media platform to air out his grievances, taking aim at mystery producer Marshmello.

It’s not the first time deadmau5, real name Joel Zimmerman, has thrown shade at Marshmello, and his latest criticisms come as a response to a Tweet from the future bass producer, who took the opportunity to invite the mau5 to a game of basketball. In Joel’s Tweet, he calls the costumed DJ out for trying to use his name to bring attention to himself.

But in typical deadmau5 fashion, Zimmerman doesn’t stop there. He goes on to confirm what internet fanboys have been asserting all along, stating that Marshmello is actually the secret alias of Dotcom. While the whole thing is rather entertaining, the bucket head reference does seem a bit snide for a guy who made a name for himself donning a mouse helmet….
