A rubbery bass line underscore’s Dawson’s breathy vocals before subtle instrumentals provide a more ambient accompaniment for a segment of the arrangement. Keen attention to production quality is evident throughout, making it an ideal track for beachside sunrise sets.

In any event, “Come Alive” is leaps and bounds ahead of Bobby Puma’s Tiësto collaboration, “Making Me Dizzy.” With any luck, he’ll be able to leave the latter track in the rearview mirror now that festival season’s in full swing.

Bobby Puma‘s “Come Alive” is out now by way of Armada Deep.
