Calvin Harris And Ellie Goulding’s Collaboration Is Almost Done

Back in March, we learnt that Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris had a new collaboration in the works, with many people expecting to see the two artists debut it at Coachella. Since then, all has gone quiet in terms of when we’d see the track released, but now the latter artist has re-ignited interest in it.

Despite the fact that Harris told Ryan Seacrest during a previous interview that he had only really made “half a song” with Ellie, the producer has now revealed on The Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw that their collaboration is almost done. He says that Goulding sent him a vocal but the track is still missing a hook and that she needs to get back in the studio and finish it.

So, it appears then that there is definitely something brewing between the two artists, and it’s nearing completion. When they’ll have time to finish it is hard to say, given that they’re both obviously extremely busy, but with a vocal already done, at least they’re part of the way there.
