Coinciding with the launch of Rocket League at retail on July 5, the Afterburner and Marauder DLC – which features two cars that first-appeared in the aforementioned prequel – will be available exclusively to those that buy the boxed copy until July 18, whereupon both racers will go on sale digitally for $1.99 each, the studio has said on their website.

Available first as a timed exclusive in the Rocket League Collector’s Edition retail release, the jet-inspired Aftershock and monstrous Marauder will retain their original thematic style but also sport a new, more modern visual look. Both vehicles will also come with six gorgeous Decals immediately unlocked.

If you never got around to playing Battle-Cars, you can check out the trailer above for a first-look at both cars in Rocket League. The Afterburner and Marauder are just the latest of several crossovers Psyonix has included in the popular extreme sports title. The likes of Back To The Future‘s DeLorean, as well as collaborations with other big-name titles like Dying Light have been released in the past.
