Following up on the publisher’s bizarre opening, Ubisoft turned the spotlight on Wildlands, first rolling out a glitzy cinematic clip before delving into gameplay. It was here that the shooter’s four-player co-op feature took center stage, as a squad of teammates infiltrated a well-guarded enemy camp to extract a target. Pulse-pounding stealth and intense firefights ensue.

Similar to Rainbow Six Siege and The Division before it, Ghost Recon: Wildlands was presented as a tense, dynamic experience, but whether that natural camaraderie carries over into the final product remains to be seen. Teamwork is all well and good when you’re sticking close to a rehearsed script, and there are some truly great gameplay moments included in the second trailer for Wildlands, but if The Division and Siege taught us anything, it’s that it can be difficult to recreate that dynamic online.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands will release for PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 7, 2017. Tell us, what are your early impressions of Ubisoft Paris’ narcotics thrillers?
