When it comes to summer movies, most of the attention seems to be focused on blockbusters like Suicide SquadGhostbustersStar Trek Beyond and Jason Bourne. So, you’d be forgiven for forgetting that the King of the Jungle is also going to be making an appearance in theatres shortly.

Yes, that’s right, Warner Bros.’ The Legend of Tarzan is still on track to arrive next month and today, the studio has released a massive batch of stills to remind us of that fact. On full display are star Alexander Skarsgård’s flawless abs along with numerous shots of the gorgeous Margot Robbie and co-stars Samuel L. Jackson and Christoph Waltz, among others.

Director David Yates is behind the camera for this one, bringing us Tarzan’s origin story as we see him return to his rightful home of Congo after failing to adopt to a gentrified life as John Clayton.

For all of the talent involved in The Legend of Tarzan, it’ll be fascinating to see how Warner Bros.’ tentpole fares at the box office in the wake of The Jungle Book and Warcraft – two CG-laden features from earlier in the year that showcased the fine line between success and failure in the blockbuster space.

Alas, we’ll find out soon enough, as The Legend of Tarzan swings into theatres on July 1st, 2016.
