Swedish producer Alesso dropped a remix package over the weekend for his single “I Wanna Know” with Nico & Vinz, enlisting new versions of the song from Deniz Koyu, Halogen and Ansolo. The three remixers take the source material in some very different directions, giving the collection an eclectic feel.
Deniz Koyu brings a summer-y vibe to his version, placing focus on the offbeat piano stabs and vocals throughout the verses, before diving into bouncy house drops with driving percussion and chopped up vocal samples. Ansolo delivers a darker take on the song, taking it in a future house direction with upbeat drums and rubbery bass stabs, while Halogen takes things to soulful new heights with their uplifting house remix.
