This weekend, Ghostbusters ended up reaching only #2 at the North American box office thanks to stiff competition from animated family movie, The Secret Life of Pets. With a predicted haul of $46 million domestically, the reboot has made a total of $65.1 million worldwide over the past few days and still has at least another thirty four territories to open in.

Of course, with a budget of around $140 million (not including marketing costs), Ghostbusters has a long way to go before it can be deemed a success, and it faces an uphill battle to reach profitability over the next few weeks thanks to upcoming movies like Star Trek Beyond, Jason Bourne and Suicide Squad. Also not helping matters is the fact that it likely won’t be given a release in China, a country which has helped push many a movie into the black.

We’re just going to have to wait and see how things pan out there, but someone celebrating the reboot’s opening weekend is director Paul Feig. He sent out a Tweet with the new poster below, and as you can see, it offers up a cool new look at the foursome who we’ll hopefully get to see reunited in a Ghostbusters sequel – which is all but confirmed to be happening.

Ghostbusters is out now, and you can find our very own review of the movie by clicking here.
