We will, of course, be bringing you all the announcements and trailer reveals as they happen here on We Got This Covered, and as Warner Bros.’ wicked offshoot stands as the most-buzzed about movie on the social platforms, Suicide Squad is primed to have a major presence at SDCC 2016.

Case in point: the life-size Hot Toys statue (see below) that places the Clown Prince of Crime in the famous Batsuit – one that’s being completely defaced in a fashion that isn’t too dissimilar to Robin’s scarred husk that was glimpsed in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Keeping the momentum burning bright from yesterday’s scintillating look at Harley Quinn in action, there’s also a new clip emerging today that shifts focus to Cara Delevingne’s Enchantress, the capricious being formerly known as June Moone who is all but set to be one of, if not the main villain.

We use villain quite loosely, as Suicide Squad is really all about the villains. In assembling Task Force X, David Ayer has cast Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jay Hernandez and Adam Beach. Scott Eastwood, Viola Davis and Ben Affleck also star.

Suicide Squad is due to storm theaters on August 5.
