Although it’s been over a year since the release of their first album, EDM supergroup Jack Ü are still riding high on the wave of success created by their debut effort. Skrillex and Diplo enlisted a number of top notch producers for a remix package for their collab with Kai on “Mind,” dropping the collection as a free download this week. Among the remixers are Malaa, Wiwek, Mark Johns and Basecamp, Oshi and more.
Wiwek delivers a jungle terror infused take for his remix, infusing screeching synths, pounding percussion and wild sound effect into his take on “Mind.” Malaa brings the heat on a G-house remix, bringing his signature bass heavy productions to the table with one of the best mixes on the collection. Mark Johns and Basecamp, meanwhile, team up on a collaborative remix that swings between ethereal pop and driving trap.
The six track remix pack features a diverse array of styles for Jack Ü‘s single and there’s certainly something for everyone to enjoy.
