The last year has seen rising future bass producer Slushii hitting some major career marks. From gaining support from huge industry figures like his mentor Marshmello to joining up with fan favorite label Monstercat, Slushii’s career has gained some serious momentum in a short period of time and shows no signs of slowing down.

The producer hit another milestone over the weekend with his debut live performance at HARD Summer in Los Angeles, where he dropped his first live set in front of a crowd 15,000 strong. If that weren’t enough to make for a memorable inauguration as a dance music DJ, his performance was also graced by a special guest.

As Slushii dropped “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites” into his set, Skrillex himself joined the DJ on stage to everyone’s surprise. At the end of the video clip, he can be heard yelling “Let’s give it up for the future right here,” giving some major props to the fresh faced producer.

With support from some of the biggest names in the game, it appears Slushii has nowhere to go but up.
