Diplo Is Teaming Up With Desiigner On Upcoming Collab

Love him or hate him, there’s no denying the role Diplo has played in bringing dance music to the masses. Over the last couple of years we’ve seen the gap between EDM and pop get smaller and smaller, due in no small part to Diplo’s work on hits like “Where Are Ü Now?” and “Lean On.” As his clout in mainstream music has grown, it seems that every major artist under the sun wants to get in on the action, from Ariana Grande to a host of collaborators for the upcoming Major Lazer album.

During an interview with Billboard, the president of SONGS Publishing let slip that Diplo has a collaboration on the way with “Panda” rapper Desiigner, while also revealing an unlikely pairing with Country singer Sam Hunt for a future effort.

With so many upcoming collaborations, it’s a wonder that Diplo is ever able to finish any of his records. There’s no word yet on when the Desiigner collab will drop, but we’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available.
