Bandai Namco has revealed a new character for the upcoming Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 today, and it’s one that series fans will more than likely recognize straight off the bat. Majin Vegeta, an evil version of the Saiyan Prince that’s been corrupted by evil wizard Babidi, is described as having “incredible strength and stamina,” and the proud warrior’s most fearsome form.

In addition to the new roster entry, Bandai Namco has also detailed a new Expert Mission multiplayer mode, which will enable up to six players to team up and battle it out with giant bosses. The new feature “gives players the opportunity to form strategic team play that will deliver the most dynamic multiplayer experience in any Dragon Ball Z game to-date,” according to the publisher.

In an effort to make the sequel to the original bigger and better in every way, Xenoverse 2 will have twice the amount of quests compared to its predecessor, with its hub area set to be seven times larger than the last.

But you won’t have to wait until release day to get your first taste of what the game has to offer – Bandai Namco says they’ve got an open beta planned for the near future, although there’s no mention of which platforms will be participating. In it, you’ll be able to explore Conton City, along the way finding quests and sparring partners with which to train. More news in regards to the beta will be released at a later date, says Bandai Namco.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 releases for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on October 25.
