Niantic is making it easier for players to discern which of their Pokemon have the most battle potential with the latest update for popular mobile game Pokemon Go. Rolling out worldwide to all Trainers, the so-called Pokemon Appraisal feature will enable players to visit their respective team leader (Candela, Blanche or Spark) with their latest catch to get its battle prowess analyzed.

Currently, the only indicator of a Pokemon’s strength is its CP number, which increases when fed with candy and stardust. However, there’s no way to tell at what level that stat caps out. Hopefully, this new system will further help players allocate their resources and reveal which freshly-caught critters are worth the investment right off the bat.

  • We are still working hard on several new and exciting features to come in the future of Pokémon GO.
  • Minor bot fixes
