It’s only been less than a year since Little Mix released their third record, Get Weird, but plans are already in full force for album number four.

The quartet spoke with Capital FM at V Festival this past weekend to talk about new material, and even mentioned that a single from the upcoming album, expected to be out later this year, has already been decided on and is set to debut in October.

Little Mix have been teasing new material for a while now, as member of the group, Perrie Edwards, spoke with Sugarscape earlier this year and gave some insight as to what to expect from fresh music.

We’re so obsessed with ‘Get Weird’ that it has to be a step up. We were worried when we were making ‘Get Weird’ that we loved it that much we were thinking, ‘How on Earth are we going to make this better and up our game?’

Get Weird, released in November of 2015, was the group’s highest charting U.K. record to date with two top 10 singles. As such, we’re certainly excited to see whatever it is they’ve come up with for their next effort.
