The Weeknd is starting to get cryptic on his social media profiles, leading us to believe that new music may be on the horizon.

Today, the pop swoonster made moves on his Twitter profile, where he changed his avatar and header to an all black photo. On Instagram, he went the extra mile to post an all black video, but the clip actually contained a minute long snippet of vocals with indecipherable lyrics.

It’s no secret that The Weeknd has been hard at work crafting sounds for a new project, as he’s been filling up his Facebook and Instagram with photos and clips of him in the studio. As far as collaborations go, Trolls star Justin Timberlake told BBC 1Xtra a few months back that the two have discussed working together for his new album, and back in May, Wendy Goldstein, a Republic Records executive, revealed that a session with electronic duo Daft Punk and The Weeknd would be taking place.

A new album this year from The Weeknd would act as the follow-up to his double platinum 2015 record, Beauty Behind the Madness, which spawned multiple top ten singles including “The Hills” and “Can’t Feel My Face.”
